The Train Song

He’d rather not get into these complications

Booze pills powder sex relations

He hates to see her go down the drain

Blood screams hurt and old burning pain

Waiting for the train out of town

This time she knows his luck will change

Around and around until he’s down

Waiting for the train out of town

Waiting for the train out of town

She dances alone and forgets about the rest

Yet some tried to give her the very best

It’s so sad you know the way she bleeds

But sometimes we forget to plant the seed

It takes a plane to fly, it takes a train to cry

That’s what you said looking in my eyes

There’s no need to tell me what it means

I’m so sad, babe I've got to leave
